We are pleased to advise you following government guidelines and guidelines from the Private Security Authority (PSA). We will be re-opening our office from Monday the 18th with our full I.T Service. We will be phasing back our security services in accordance with Phases 2 & 3 of government guideline. We will be implementing strict Risk Assessments, social distancing, PPE, & hand Sanitizing measures to ensure the safety of both our customers and staff. Contractors shall conduct a risk assessment with the householder in advance of the work detailing how social distancing shall be maintained while the service is being provided.

Returns & Refund Policy

Thank you for purchasing from Total Technology Solutions.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Returns

 You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you purchased it.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you purchased it. Your item must be in the original packaging.

You need to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

CCTV Equipment Returns

All CCTV equipment sold is EXCLUDED from returns

a) The Seller warrants that Goods will be free from any defect in material or workmanship for a period of one year after the date of delivery (whether to the Buyer or any carrier) unless otherwise stated by the terms of the relevant manufacturer’s warranty relating to the Goods or on the invoice.

(b) The Seller’s liability for breach of warranty shall be limited solely to replacing or repairing without charge, the defective Goods or part thereof, provided that all of the following conditions have been met:

      The Buyer shall have notified the Seller of the defect(s) in writing such a period of one year or as otherwise stated. Such defect(s) shall have proved by the Buyer to be attributed to the Seller.  If requested by the Seller, the Buyer shall have such defective Goods or part thereof returned to the Seller’s head office

prepaid, insured, properly packed and accompanied by the return number authorisation (RNA) document provided by the Seller.

(c) Such warranties set forth above do not extend to Goods which become defective resulting from damage in the course of transportation or by handling, storage, operation, use, repair or maintenance in a manner or environment contrary to the instruction or specifications of the Seller.

(d) Such warranties set forth above do not extend to systems in which Goods purchased from the Seller are operationally controlled or electrically integrated with equipment not supplied by the Seller without the prior written consent of the Seller.

(e) The warranties set forth above shall run only to the Buyer.

(f) The warranties set forth above are given in lieu of and to the exclusion of, to the extent permitted by law, all representations, guarantee, conditions, warranties or liabilities whatsoever (express or implied, statutory or otherwise and whether arising in tort of contract for negligence or otherwise) as to the quality of the Goods of their fitness for any purpose.

(g) The Seller hereby also expressly excludes any liability for consequential damage caused by or arising out of use of the Goods or occurring in respect of the Goods howsoever arising.

(h) Any defective CCTV equipment not returned will be invoiced at full retail price

Refunds

 Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Shipping

 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

 Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

Service Maintenance

Your service maintenance contract will entitle you to a routine service call annually by one of our alarm engineers to check your entire system is fully operational. It will also supply you with access to our 24 hour on-call emergency service in the event of a fault or system failure at reduced call out rates. You can also avail of reduced hourly rates for additional works if required.

Service Costs

Annual visit costs €65.00 incl. VAT @ 13.5% for Domestic customer

Annual visit costs €125.00 incl. VAT @ 13.5% for Commercial Customer

Benefits of a service maintenance visit;

  • Cheaper option for preventative maintenance
  • Significantly cheaper than an emergency call out in the event of a fault on the system
  • The newer the system the less likely it is that faults will exist, hence one visit may be more suitable.
  • Access to lower call-out and labour costs than without maintenance.
  • The older the system, the more prone devices are to malfunction. Regular check-ups are ideally suited to ensure the system is operating to its full detection capabilities
  • As sensors begin to fail with time they will do so intermittently. Annual service visits will give the customer the best cover to ensure the systems devices are operating within parameters.

 A service maintenance call includes the following procedures;

  • Check system log for faults.
  • Correct date and time if not accurate.
  • Clear any system fault present.
  • Check the Intruder Alarm system and that all equipment and devices are functioning correctly.
  • Check the operation of all sensors by performing an Engineers Walk test on the system to ensure all detection devices activate the alarm and are within the correct parameters.
  • Check both mains and standby power supplies. Includes full load test on battery to ensure it will last a minimum of 12 hours as required.
  • Battery change out if needed. Generally panel battery replaced after 5 years and sensor batteries changed after 2 years to ensure optimal operation of the system
  • Check all internal and external audible warning devices are operational.
  • Check all monitoring devices and ensure connectivity to alarm monitoring station if applicable.
  • Update system software which will customers to benefit from newer features not available at the time of installation.
  • Inform end user of any faults or concerns there may be with the system.
  • Provide a copy of the engineer’s report.
  • Replace any defective devices if required.
